Laura Niklason, PhD, MD, delivered a keynote talk, “Bioengineering Human Tissue Replacements from Scratch,” on Nov. 9, 2022, the opening day of the AIM-Bio Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing Symposium, which was held at NC State. Dr. Niklason is the founder, president, and chief executive officer of Humacyte, located in Durham.
