NC State to host fifth annual AIM-Bio Symposium

The fifth annual AIM-Bio Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing Symposium is scheduled for Nov. 18–19, 2024, at NC State University. AIM-Bio researchers, educators, External Advisory Board members and the Novo Nordisk Foundation members are invited to meet and celebrate the accomplishments of the program at this capstone event. The objectives of the meeting are listed below: 

  • Network and continue to strengthen partnership among the AIM-Bio collaborators. 
  • Enhance understanding, engagement, and knowledge exchange in the AIM-Bio program. 
  • Expand knowledge of the field of biopharmaceutical manufacturing.

Speakers will address topics including the future of biomanufacturing, commercialization of research, industry hot topics, workforce and education and much more. The agenda for the two-day, in-person meeting also includes a poster session, education and research presentations and industry tours. The symposium provides an opportunity to strengthen the partnership between NC State and the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and celebrate the accomplishments of AIM-Bio.
